Our bowling season generally starts at the beginning of May, following our Open House. Lessons are offered to new members.

Most days of the week from May until the end of October there is a 1:00 p.m. draw for our members and visitors, with no commitment to attend regular daily sessions.  See Bowls Schedule and note exceptions on our calendar.

At draws, teams are selected by drawing from those present, and a typical game lasts about 2 hours. Participants in men’s and women’s leagues play weekly. We also have many Club Tournaments, most of which are formed by random draws. In addition, members may take the opportunity to participate in Bowls South Island (BSI) Tournaments.

Throughout the years, we have had Canadian Champions and provided wonderful recreation and friendship to many members of the community, as well as visitors from the cruise ships and from Scotland, England, and the US.

Social Lawn Bowling offers a great place to meet people, and enjoy fun and friendly competition, social events and get-togethers.
