VLBC and Burnside Lawn Bowling Club members enjoyed what we all hope will become a tradition—an evening together of bowling fun followed by a scrumptious potluck dinner.

From 50 to 60 players gathered on the greens in mixed-teams for an 8-end triples game. After working up a thirst and healthy appetite, everyone gathered inside the clubhouse for drinks and food. It didn’t take long to polish off the large selection of salads, cold meats and other goodies, while getting to know each other.

Thank you Anita McCaw and Minke Brand for organizing the event, Kathy Moi for manning the bar, those that set up the greens and games, and all the kitchen hospitality crew who set out the food and cleaned up afterwards.
