Canada Day celebrated at the Victoria Lawn Bowling Club—red and white against lush green, the Maple Leaf flying against a brilliant blue sky.

About 50 members turned out to enjoy croquet and lawn bowling followed by drinks, dinner and visiting. Burger-chef Peter and the Hospitality Crew headed by Annie and Caroline set out another delectable meal topped off with a decorated chocolate cake.

It was wonderful to see the greens and verges looking almost back to normal, thanks to all the hard work of Chris Jones over the past few months, and also to welcome so many new members out to join in the fun.
