The VLBC Women’s League celebrated a special birthday in early September, 2021—that of 91 year old member Kay Hellard. League members presented Kay with flowers to suit the occasion and everyone enjoyed tea and Caroline’s blueberry-peach cake.  

Kay has bowled each Wednesday in the league over the summer. Every team knows that if they draw Kay for a lead they are quite sure to win the game.

Kay shows a bowling form and accuracy that is the envy of all and her smile wins the day. What better proof that bowling keeps one young!
