“While the members are holding their collective breath to start bowling/croqueting, some members are getting the greens ready. Next best thing to bowling is to paint the lane markings and water the plants on a gorgeous day – Wednesday June 3rd. The boundary markers look pretty good now. Also, there has been a lot of work on the grass cutting rolling, etc. As a result, the greens look faster and tempting to bowl.”…Contributed by Gopal Gowda.

The VLBC Executive has also been working hard behind the scenes to prepare for the “new normal” in bowling and croquet. President Kathy Moi advises we are “ready to go as far as meeting all the safety protocols” and asks that members be patient in anticipation of final clearance from Bowls BC and the BC Public Health Office.
